Entry-Level Accountant – QuickBooks & Excel

About the role

The Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping activities for Dee Tawak Petroleum and Gas Nigeria Limited. This entry‑level position focuses on transaction posting, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting using QuickBooks and Excel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Post transactions, perform reconciliations, and maintain records in QuickBooks.
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules under supervision.
• Support tax filing, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Maintain organized filing and documentation of financial records.
• Collaborate with senior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required profile

• Basic working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, reporting).
• Familiarity with Zoho and Sage accounting software is a plus.
• Accounting, Finance, or related qualification (HND/BSc).
• Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
