Engineering Manager (Site Reliability)

About the role

As an Engineering Manager you will drive the successful delivery and execution of projects within the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team. You will manage end‑to‑end technical planning, translate product requirements into actionable tasks, and orchestrate collaboration between engineers, product managers, QA and UX while maintaining high technical standards and meeting project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution for the SRE tooling team, ensuring feasibility of product requirements and alignment with architecture.
• Translate requirements into EPICs and technical stories, work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to refine and groom tasks.
• Plan and organize sprints with clear goals, track team velocity and manage bandwidth.
• Foster engineering processes that promote seamless collaboration and ensure monitoring, observability and SLI/SLO compliance for owned services.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to critical projects, and run blameless RCA sessions during incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years using Node.js or Python.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning and backlog management.
• Proven ability to break down complex product requirements into EPICs, stories and tasks.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
