Early Years Teacher (EYFS) – British Curriculum – Abuja

About the role

We are looking for an Early Years Teacher based in Abuja who brings both technical excellence and genuine warmth to the classroom to join our fast‑growing team. You will teach Literacy, Numeracy, Communication and Language to children aged one to five, using the British EYFS framework within our hybrid curriculum model. This is a full‑time, permanent position with a clearly defined pathway to Lead Teacher for high‑performing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver EYFS‑aligned learning experiences for children aged 1–5.
• Deliver Jolly Phonics with confidence and creativity.
• Implement Nelson or Twinkl handwriting programmes with precision.
• Maintain meticulous developmental records and share milestones with parents.
• Uphold Rupetta's standards of hygiene, safety, and emotional care at all times.
• Contribute actively to the school's culture of integrity, fairness, and mutual respect.

Required profile

• Currently based in Abuja.
• Minimum of one year’s direct experience teaching children aged 1–5.
• Hold an NCE or a degree in Education (B.Ed, B.Sc Education, or PGDE).

Required skills

• Demonstrated Jolly Phonics expertise.
• Working knowledge of the British EYFS framework.
• Familiarity with Nelson or Twinkl handwriting schemes.
• Valid TRCN teaching certificate.
