Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior leader to serve as the chief architect of its evidence‑based learning model. This remote executive position will shape academic strategy, ensure consistent implementation across schools, and act as the public voice for a movement that enables students to learn twice as fast in just two hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic structures that translate learning science into curriculum, motivation frameworks, and technology architecture.
• Conduct performance reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and outcome‑focused.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and field observations into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and progress monitoring to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, keynote events, and meetings with Ministries of Education to influence global education transformation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated track record of building and scaling proven academic systems with measurable impact.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in education, learning science, or a related field.
• Executive‑level accountability experience, including setting performance standards, diagnosing implementation gaps, and mentoring high‑caliber teams.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse stakeholders and advocate for systemic change.
