Director, Commercial Effectiveness & Initiatives

About the role

Visa is seeking a senior leader to drive commercial effectiveness across its CEMEA region. The Director will use data‑driven insights, commercial strategy and emerging technologies to accelerate revenue growth, market share and portfolio yield.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize commercial growth opportunities that increase Visa revenue, market share and portfolio yield across CEMEA.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations for sales strategy, account planning and annual operating plans.
• Modernize and govern the regional reporting and decision‑intelligence ecosystem, incorporating GenAI and automation.
• Analyze market trends, client performance and deal dynamics to uncover actionable insights.
• Lead cross‑functional transformation programmes from concept through execution, ensuring adoption and measurable business impact.
• Establish performance‑management rhythms, KPI frameworks and operating processes that drive accountability and results.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial strategy, analytics or business transformation, preferably in payments or fintech.
• Proven track record of delivering revenue‑growth initiatives at an executive level.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
