About the role
The Deposit Mobilization Officer is responsible for expanding the bank’s deposit base by acquiring and managing relationships with individual and institutional clients. The role focuses on meeting liability generation targets while promoting a range of savings and investment products and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively source new deposit clients through prospecting, cold‑calling, referrals and networking.
- Mobilize deposits from individuals, high‑net‑worth clients, SMEs, corporates and associations.
- Market liability products such as savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, investment notes and special schemes.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual deposit mobilization targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products and interest‑rate movements to inform strategy.
Required profile
- NCE/ND, HND, BSC qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in deposit mobilization or investment within the financial sector.
