DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain the scalable cloud infrastructure that powers Kredete’s cross‑border payment platform. You will work closely with development teams to automate workflows, ensure reliability and embed security throughout the delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and manage AWS and GCP environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Own end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, optimizing for speed, reliability and security.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes clusters.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack, and proactively resolve performance issues.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, manage secrets, run vulnerability scans and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify bottlenecks, automate provisioning and improve operational workflows.
• Lead incident response, conduct post‑mortems and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
• Proven ability to design and operate large‑scale cloud infrastructures.
