Desktop Technician Level 2 – Lagos

About the role

The Desktop Technician Level 2 provides on‑site support for desktop, laptop, telephone and printer equipment in Lagos. You will install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain a range of hardware and software while working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain desktop/laptop computers (Windows 7, Windows 10, macOS), standard and VOIP phones, and printers.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting, resolve user queries, and handle equipment moves with minimal supervision.
• Maintain manufacturer certifications, perform warranty repairs and order replacement parts as needed.
• Collaborate on limited‑complexity projects and support tasks while following established processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in network or desktop support.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or similar are advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server environments and Active Directory is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows 7, Windows 10, macOS and VOIP telephony.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and terminal emulators (Putty, TeraTerm, Poderosa).
• Ability to use Teams or Webex for remote collaboration.
