Data Analyst – Drive Business Insights

About the role

WATU is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join its fast‑growing team in Nigeria. You will work closely with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights that support the company’s asset‑finance mission.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and maintain company‑wide reports and dashboards.
• Answer business questions using data analysis, statistics and reporting.
• Deliver on regular and ad‑hoc data requests and operational tasks.
• Set up and maintain database objects and processes used by the Data Analytics team.
• Conduct audits, develop tools to monitor data quality, and improve team processes.
• Collaborate on documentation, technical writing, and support junior analysts.
• Evaluate existing business systems and recommend efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an IT or Business‑related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data or Business Intelligence Analyst.
• Certifications in data tools or coding languages are a plus.
• Experience with version control and dbt is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail.
