About the role
We are looking for a motivated Credit Officer to join Victory Empowerment Centre in Lagos. The role involves evaluating loan applications, managing client relationships, and supporting the growth of our micro‑finance portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Sourcing new clients and promoting our financial products.
- Processing loan applications and assessing customers’ creditworthiness.
- Monitoring loan repayments and ensuring timely recovery of overdue loans.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular field visits.
- Reporting on loan performance and supporting the credit team with data analysis.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of an OND (Ordinary National Diploma).
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience in banking or micro‑finance is an advantage.
- Hardworking, honest, result‑oriented and willing to conduct fieldwork.

- Computer literacy.
