Commercial Data Analyst – Data‑driven Business Insights

About the role

The Commercial Data Analyst will turn sales, market and financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across the commercial function. Working closely with sales, marketing, product development and finance, you will help improve performance, forecast demand and evaluate market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, market and financial data to identify trends and business opportunities.
• Create and maintain commercial dashboards and regular reports for key stakeholders.
• Conduct post‑campaign analysis to measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences, providing insights for strategic planning.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and completeness in reporting systems.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve data collection and management processes.
• Present findings and recommendations to the commercial leadership team.
• Develop models to forecast sales and market trends.
• Support ad‑hoc data and analysis requests from the commercial team.
