Business Development Manager – Solar Energy Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and results‑driven Business Development Officer to drive revenue growth, acquire new clients, and expand our market presence for residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
• Prospect, qualify, and convert leads into residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, facility managers, business owners, and key decision‑makers.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular forecasts, and submit timely sales reports.
• Identify emerging market trends, competitor activities, and new revenue opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development and B2B and B2C sales within the solar energy industry.
• Demonstrated track record of generating qualified leads from scratch, managing the sales pipeline, and closing high‑value solar projects.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, battery energy storage systems, and related renewable energy solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
