Business Development Manager

About the role

Preferred Digital Business Solutions (PDBS) is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives, drive revenue, and expand market presence across multiple industry verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure, targeting sectors such as Banking, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Automotive, Gaming, Technology Startups, and Education.
• Generate qualified leads, maintain a revenue‑focused pipeline, and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Build and nurture long‑term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring smooth handover to delivery teams.
• Establish strategic partnerships, represent PDBS at industry events, and provide market intelligence to shape service offerings.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare performance reports, and support contract preparation and client onboarding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5‑7 years of B2B business development, sales or account management experience in software, technology or IT services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of custom software development, SaaS, digital transformation and IT consulting services.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs and working with Agile, Scrum and SDLC environments.
