Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence within the FinTech and banking sectors. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and leading business development initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, clients, and partnerships.
• Generate leads through networking, market research, referrals, and other channels.
• Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, quotations, and sales pitches.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements with clients and partners.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to spot growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and other teams to achieve business objectives.
• Manage the sales pipeline and follow up on prospects to convert opportunities into business.
• Track business development activities, sales performance, and revenue targets, and prepare regular reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Banking or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or Partnerships, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in FinTech, Banking, Payment Services, Agency Banking, Telecommunications or FMCG.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

What we offer

• Remuneration of NGN 300,000 per month plus 5 % commission on all revenue generated.
