Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our engineering and HVAC&R solutions in Nigeria. The role focuses on identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering profitable deals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking and participation in industry events.
• Manage relationships with new and existing clients to build long‑term trust.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to close profitable agreements.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to align growth objectives.
• Track sales pipelines, monitor KPIs and report progress to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Sales or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in business development, sales or client acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of market research, negotiation and revenue‑generation strategies.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that increase revenue and strengthen market position.
