Business Development Executive (Female)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive (female) to drive growth within the construction sector. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the company’s market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities in construction to meet sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and conversion.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Monitor and respond to bid and tender opportunities, preparing proposals and pre‑qualification documents.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover emerging sectors and geographic markets.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking forums.
• Prepare regular business development reports covering pipeline, conversion rates and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing or client relationship management, preferably in construction.
• Proven track record of securing contracts and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
