Business Development Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to drive growth across oil & gas, energy, construction and manufacturing sectors. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, operations and technical teams to capture new revenue opportunities and support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in oil & gas, energy, construction and manufacturing.
• Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams, decision‑makers and strategic partners.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.
• Perform market and competitor analysis to uncover revenue prospects.
• Develop pricing strategies, commercial proposals and bids.
• Drive monthly and quarterly revenue targets through new business, upselling and cross‑selling.
• Manage and forecast the sales pipeline using Zoho CRM.
• Lead the preparation of RFQs, EOIs and tenders.
• Collaborate with operations, HSE and technical teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Supervise and support the Business Development Executive.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Development experience in oil & gas, industrial safety or technical services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of HSE compliance, oilfield services and industrial operations.
• Excellent numerical and analytical capability, including pricing and margin analysis.
• Confident communicator able to engage senior executives and procurement teams.

Required skills

• Zoho CRM (hands‑on experience managing lead pipelines, client interactions and sales forecasting).
