Backend Developer – Node.js & Java

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and Java to join our engineering team. The role focuses on building and maintaining high‑performance backend services that support our financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and micro‑services using Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Java (Spring Boot).
• Write clean, efficient server‑side code and ensure proper documentation.
• Integrate third‑party services such as payment gateways and financial data APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Debug and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, micro‑services architecture and message queues.
• Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
• Proficiency with Git and version‑control workflows.
