Assembly Repair Maintenance & Overhaul Technician – Pressure Pumping

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as an Assembly Repair Maintenance & Overhaul (ARMO) Technician focused on pressure pumping equipment. You will work on electro‑mechanical assemblies, ensuring reliability and performance for wellbore intervention projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex electro‑mechanical tests and visual inspections with minimal instruction.
• Rework, repair, and modify non‑conforming equipment according to documented procedures.
• Analyze environmental test data, troubleshoot equipment problems, and provide technical support to other teams.
• Coach junior technicians and share best practices.
• Inspect, disposition, and document parts and equipment.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) policies.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience with electro‑mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
• Strong analytical ability to solve technical problems.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced soldering and assembly of electro‑mechanical devices.
• Proficiency with multimeters, megohmmeters, hi‑pot testers, and oscilloscopes.
• Use of measurement and gauging equipment.
• Knowledge of fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro‑mechanical components.
• Blueprint and wiring diagram interpretation.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
