Analyst, Simulator Maintainer & Systems Administrator

About the role

The Simulator Maintainer & Systems Administrator ensures that all simulator systems in the Simulation Complex are continuously available, reliable, secure and performant. This mid‑level analyst provides preventive and corrective maintenance, real‑time technical support, and oversees the IT infrastructure that powers training and assessment activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational readiness of simulator hardware, software, servers, workstations, networks and audiovisual equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and monitor system logs to pre‑empt issues.
• Provide real‑time technical assistance to instructors and trainees during training sessions, examinations and demonstrations.
• Manage simulator networks, storage, backups and cybersecurity measures, including user accounts and access controls.
• Coordinate software updates, patches and system upgrades across all simulator stations.
• Document maintenance activities, track faults, manage spare parts and keep asset registers up to date.
• Liaise with manufacturers, vendors and contractors for remote diagnostics, on‑site service and warranty compliance.
• Support safety audits, compliance checks and business continuity planning.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in hardware, software and network administration.
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to work independently and support training environments.
