About the role
Baker Hughes is seeking a Tender Manager to lead the inquiry‑to‑order process for its Drilling and Completions Fluids portfolio within the Oilfield Services & Equipment segment. You will shape commercial strategy, develop winning proposals, and ensure profitable revenue growth while protecting the company’s risk exposure.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for assigned regions and segments.
- Own the end‑to‑end tendering cycle, gathering capacity, costing and pricing inputs.
- Craft tailored value propositions and winning strategies for each tender.
- Negotiate with customers, compile tender documentation, and ensure compliance with ITO governance.
- Validate risk‑reward balance, considering terms, technical risks, margins and payment security.
- Collaborate with global and regional sales, technical, pricing, risk and contracts teams.
- Uphold commercial processes, policies and procedures, and contribute to their evolution.
Required profile
- Proven experience in tender management within oilfield services or related industrial sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop pricing strategies and assess risk.
- Technical understanding of drilling and completions fluid products and their operating environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across global and regional teams.
