Social Media Content Specialist (Hospitality)

About the role

Glocient Hospitality is seeking a creative Social Media Content Specialist to amplify the brand presence of its flagship Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort. You will craft engaging visual and written content that showcases the resort’s amenities, guest experiences, and local attractions across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars aligned with brand goals and seasonal campaigns.
• Create posts, reels, stories, and videos highlighting hotel features, events, and nearby attractions.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and influencers to produce high‑quality visual assets.
• Manage daily publishing and community interaction on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
• Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform algorithms to maximise reach and relevance.
• Respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews in a brand‑consistent tone.
• Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and optimise content based on insights.
• Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Support digital campaigns, contests, and influencer partnerships in coordination with marketing, PR, and guest services teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of social media management experience, preferably in hospitality or travel.
• Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling abilities.
• Passion for hospitality, travel, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social‑media scheduling platforms.
• Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and platform algorithms.
