Sales Personnel

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Personnel to drive our FMCG product line across Lagos. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding our retailer network, and ensuring product visibility in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Execute route‑to‑market and merchandising strategies for product visibility.
• Monitor stock levels, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Ensure timely order placement, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
• Conduct regular market visits, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.
• Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
• Ensure proper product placement and shelf visibility at point‑of‑sale locations.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain brand reputation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years proven sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of trade channels, distribution networks, and retail sales practices.
• Target‑driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to work independently and manage an assigned route/territory.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with sales reporting tools.
