Sales Engineer – Lubricants Development

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive market development and sales of automotive lubricants and specialty products across Lagos and the South‑West zone. The role combines commercial acumen with technical support to achieve volume and gross‑margin targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate lubricants selling activities to meet volume and gross‑margin objectives.
• Develop and nurture proactive relationships with existing customers and acquire new accounts, targeting at least three viable new accounts each quarter.
• Maintain and grow market share, aiming for a 10 % increase in sales volume from new business.
• Manage customer receivables in line with company policy, ensuring 90 % of receivables are within 14 days.
• Provide technical guidance on product applications, efficiency, reliability, quality, pricing and industry updates.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in sales or lubricants market.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
• Ability to build and sustain customer relationships.
• Good understanding of credit and receivables management.
