Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Specialist will drive customer acquisition, retention and brand awareness for Heirs Insurance Group. Working in a hybrid model from Lagos, you will combine in‑office collaboration with approved remote work to support the group’s growth across its insurance and financial services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients, presenting tailored insurance solutions.
• Manage sales pipelines, negotiate contracts and close deals to meet revenue targets.
• Support existing customers with product information, service follow‑up and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns, coordinate promotional activities and gather market insights.
• Assist in training initiatives for sales teams and contribute to sales management reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues to align sales and marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales experience with prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Experience in training or sales‑management support.
• Knowledge of marketing principles; basic digital marketing tools are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
