Quality Assurance Quality Control Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance and Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QA/QC function for a leading engineering and industrial manufacturing company in Nigeria. The role will drive quality excellence, ensure compliance with standards, and champion continuous improvement across production and assembly operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the QA/QC team in executing inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct incoming, in‑process, and final product inspections and manage non‑conformities.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions to eliminate recurring issues.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and support external certification and customer audits.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain to improve processes and products.
• Monitor quality KPIs, prepare reports, and present performance updates to management.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and traceability documentation.
• Train, mentor, and develop QA/QC personnel and support supplier quality activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and hands‑on experience with QMS implementation.
• Proven experience in internal auditing, non‑conformance management, CAPA, and root‑cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly processes and inspection techniques.
