Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Lead

About the role

The QA/QC Lead will establish, implement and maintain QFM LTD's Quality Management System (QMS) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. This role is pivotal for securing contracts with International Oil Companies by demonstrating operational excellence, regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and roll‑out QMS and OHSMS aligned with ISO standards.
• Act as primary liaison with external certification bodies and manage internal audits.
• Maintain the Quality Manual, HSE Manual and a document control system for procedures, ITPs and records.
• Ensure compliance with NUPRC permits, NCEC documentation and NIPEX contractor requirements.
• Create quality plans and ITPs for tank and ultrasonic cleaning projects, supervise site inspections and approve suppliers.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Train operational staff on quality procedures, safety standards and conduct inductions for new hires.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related science.
• 7–10 years of QA/QC experience in upstream or midstream oil & gas.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
• Experience with industrial cleaning, tank cleaning or maintenance services.
