Quality Assurance & Control Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Quality Control Supervisor to lead the QA/QC function for a leading engineering and industrial manufacturing company in Nigeria. The role focuses on driving quality excellence, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, and fostering continuous improvement across production and assembly operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the QA/QC team, overseeing inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct incoming, in‑process, and final product inspections and manage non‑conformities.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Plan and execute internal quality audits and support external certification audits.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain to drive process improvements.
• Monitor quality KPIs, prepare reports, and present performance updates to management.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, and traceability documentation.
• Train, mentor, and develop QA/QC personnel and support supplier quality management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Proven experience in internal audits, non‑conformance handling, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and inspection techniques.
