Production Technologist

About the role

We are looking for a Production Technologist to join our Oilfield Services team, providing intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control energy extraction assets. The role involves contributing production technology expertise to multidisciplinary projects and acting as a key contact for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide segment‑related analysis using state‑of‑the‑art techniques to deliver best‑in‑class solutions.
• Lead analytical and design activities, applying proven technologies and methods.
• Work independently and within diversified teams, presenting findings to senior leaders.
• Develop cross‑technology solutions and deliver technology solutions for the business.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for specific products or services.
• Assist in authoring training content and facilitating internal training courses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s or Doctorate is a plus).
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering/technology, preferably in geoservices, subsurface, petroleum or production engineering.
• Working knowledge of production technology or petroleum engineering and ability to discuss applications with clients.
• Experience in multiple regional petroleum basins and understanding of geological settings and reservoir complexities.
• Fluent English communication skills and strong teamwork, problem‑solving abilities.
