Merchant Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Legally Logistics is seeking a Merchant Acquisition Specialist to expand its merchant network across Lagos. You will focus on identifying businesses that ship parcels regularly and converting them into active, repeat users of our delivery platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire merchants with regular, bulk delivery needs.
• Prospect businesses via field sales, calls, WhatsApp, social media, referrals and other channels.
• Present Legally Logistics services and demonstrate operational benefits.
• Onboard new merchants and ensure successful first deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat usage and higher delivery volumes.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective and existing merchants.
• Track acquisition, activation, retention and delivery metrics.
• Gather merchant feedback and suggest service improvements.
• Consistently meet monthly acquisition and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B or merchant acquisition, preferably in logistics, e‑commerce, marketplace or SaaS sales.
• Demonstrated ability to convince businesses to adopt and regularly use a service.
• Comfortable with aggressive prospecting, field sales, negotiation and measurable targets.
• Familiarity with Lagos business and merchant networks.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in the field.
