About the role

The Children's Practice, a private paediatric clinic in Lagos, is seeking a qualified Medical Officer to deliver comprehensive healthcare services to children and their families. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and following up with patients in a supportive, family‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Prescribe medications and advise patients on usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Coordinate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinate with allied health professionals as needed.

Required profile

• MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized institution.
• License from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Minimum of 3 years post‑NYSC clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and commitment to high‑quality patient care.
