Managing Director (Medical Establishment)

About the role

The Managing Director will provide strategic, operational and commercial leadership to position ISN Medical as Nigeria’s leading provider of disease management services for chronic conditions such as diabetes and end‑stage kidney disease. This senior role is responsible for improving clinical outcomes, expanding patient access, ensuring financial sustainability and scaling nationwide operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the organization’s strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Increase patient volumes by 55% year‑on‑year and maintain patient satisfaction scores above 90% with a Net Promoter Score of 50+.
• Build and sustain partnerships with key private and public stakeholders.
• Implement technology systems that enhance data accuracy and operational excellence.
• Drive quality clinical standards to ensure patient safety and improved health outcomes.
• Develop a high‑performing finance team and a leadership development program to ensure succession readiness.
• Maintain zero material audit findings through strong internal controls and compliance processes.
• Establish a comprehensive risk management framework and ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
• Design and execute business continuity plans for operational disruptions.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related field (preferred).
• 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience, including 5–7 years in a senior executive role such as MD/CEO, COO or Hospital Director.
• Proven experience in healthcare delivery, especially chronic disease management (diabetes, renal care, hypertension).
• Demonstrated track record of scaling healthcare operations across multiple locations and driving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership and change‑management capabilities.
• Solid business acumen with expertise in financial management and budgeting.
