Maintenance Manager

About the role

Lead a technically thorough team of maintenance controllers and technicians to ensure line availability and reliability while driving cost‑saving initiatives and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Define root causes and implement solutions for equipment and process non‑conformances.
• Scope, deliver and manage improvement projects using standard manufacturing, engineering and project management tools.
• Assist in budgeting, investment planning and reporting for production lines and equipment.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance Controllers and technicians, including training and performance management.
• Approve project expenses, contracts and ensure proper staffing to meet business objectives.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent advanced technical diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role with demonstrable management abilities.
• Strong computer literacy and command of English.
• Proven experience with improvement project tools such as Kaizen, 5Y, DMAIC, FITs in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with budgeting, new line introductions and cost‑reduction initiatives.
