Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Stride Recruitment Limited is hiring a Maintenance Engineer in Lagos (Marina) for a manufacturing and warehousing environment. The engineer supervises electrical maintenance and repairs, coordinates maintenance activities and ensures equipment and electrical systems run efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance, repairs and installations so that equipment and electrical systems operate efficiently.
• Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance of machinery, equipment and facility systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify technical faults, inspect machinery for defects and carry out repairs to restore proper functionality.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervise technical personnel and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with electrical safety standards, company policies, operational procedures and applicable regulations.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and implement solutions to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted production.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance schedules and equipment performance, and submit reports to management.

Required profile

• A minimum of 3 years of experience.
• A minimum of an HND in a related field.
