About the role
Zotmann International Limited is hiring a Mine Surveyor in Ebonyi, Nigeria. The role covers all aspects of underground and open-pit survey work, from setting out pit features to providing data for mine planning and production reconciliation.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct topographical, pit, stockpile and volumetric surveys.
- Set out pit boundaries, benches, ramps and excavation limits.
- Measure ore and waste quantities and verify mining activities against approved designs.
- Provide survey data for mine planning and production reconciliation.
- Prepare survey plans, reports and volume calculations.
- Monitor pit geometry and maintain accurate survey records.
Required profile
- HND in Surveying, Geomatics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of mine-surveying experience.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional licence where applicable.
- Drone/UAV surveying experience is an added advantage.
Required skills
- Total stations, GNSS/GPS and digital surveying equipment.
- Surpac, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deswik or equivalent software.
