Logistics Manager

About the role

Stride Recruitment Limited is hiring a full-time Logistics Manager in Lagos (Marina). The role covers planning and monitoring transportation and delivery, managing inventory and warehouse operations, coordinating with suppliers and transport partners, and keeping logistics costs under control.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the transportation and timely delivery of goods to their destinations
• Monitor stock levels, oversee storage and ensure proper handling and tracking of goods and materials
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, transport companies and customers to keep logistics operations efficient
• Monitor logistics expenses and identify ways to reduce transportation and storage costs while improving efficiency
• Maintain accurate shipment and delivery records, prepare operational reports and ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
• Manage the company fleet and logistics activities, develop logistics plans and supervise logistics personnel
• Prepare and analyse MIS reports for logistics operations and coordinate loading and unloading of domestic and international exports

Required profile

• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• A minimum of a degree in a related field
