Land Surveyor

About the role

Hi-Tech Construction Inc. is seeking a full‑time Land Surveyor to join its Lagos site. The role involves conducting field surveys for construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate measurements and translating design intent to the field.

Key responsibilities

• Perform boundary, topographic and building layout surveys on construction sites.
• Set out points, operate Total Station and other surveying instruments, and calibrate equipment.
• Collect, record and verify field data for accuracy.
• Prepare survey drawings, reports and documentation using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and site supervisors to align designs with on‑site conditions.
• Maintain survey equipment and adhere to site safety procedures.
• Support quality‑control activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Total Station and related surveying instruments.
• Practical experience in topographic and building surveying.
• Ability to work on‑site in varying weather conditions and follow safety standards.
• Previous experience on construction or infrastructure projects in Lagos or similar environments is an advantage.
