About the role

Dangote Cement Plc is looking for a professional to own HR data quality, HRIS administration, data governance, reporting and analytics across the group. The role supports the cleaning, standardisation and continuous improvement of employee master data across SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors and related HR platforms, so that accurate, reliable HR information is available to management and HR stakeholders. It also addresses group-wide data inconsistencies, strengthens data ownership, reduces manual reporting and delivers timely dashboards for workforce planning, compensation, headcount, recruitment, performance and other decisions. The position is based in Lagos with support responsibilities across all Dangote Cement Plc locations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors and related HR applications, maintaining employee records, positions, grades, reporting lines, organisational structures, workflows and system parameters, and resolving user and system issues with IT and vendors.
• Lead periodic cleansing of employee, position, grade, job title, department, location, cost centre, employment type and reporting line data; build validation checks, exception reports and correction trackers; reconcile HRIS records with approved HR and payroll documentation; maintain audit trails.
• Develop standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and workforce analytics on headcount, turnover, recruitment, grade/location distribution, employee movements, absenteeism, workforce costs and organisational trends, enabling self-service reports where possible.
• Identify manual, repetitive and error-prone processes and recommend automation; support digitisation of recruitment, onboarding, employee movement, learning, performance management and the employee lifecycle; document current and future-state HRIS processes.
• Provide first-level HRIS support, write user guides, data entry standards, FAQs and process notes, and train HR users on correct SAP/SF use and data discipline.
• Ensure confidentiality and controlled access to employee information, support audit requests, document HRIS processes and changes, and escalate recurring data risks and control gaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR operations, HR data management, HR analytics, HR technology support or HR digital transformation.
• Experience in SAP HCM/SF administration, HR master data governance, cleansing, reconciliation, validation and migration, HR reporting and dashboards, advanced Excel and Power BI, process automation, UAT, issue tracking and system support.
• Attention to detail, analytical problem solving, confidentiality, stakeholder engagement, ownership and the ability to deliver within timelines.
