Group Chief People Officer

About the role

The Group Chief People Officer will lead People Operations across all business units and subsidiaries, shaping HR strategy and ensuring consistent, high‑quality HR services throughout the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day People Operations, develop and improve Group‑wide HR policies, processes, systems and standards.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement and employee relations.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll coordination and HR compliance with Nigerian employment law.
• Provide strategic HR partnership to senior leadership, translating business strategy into people priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years progressive HR/People Operations experience, including managing HR across multiple units or subsidiaries.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR compliance.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS or other people‑management systems.
• Proficiency in HR data analytics and reporting.
