Finance Officer – Inbound Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Officer to join the Inbound Logistics team at Dangote Cement Plc in Apapa. The role focuses on managing vendor invoices, customs duty payments and related financial transactions to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and process vendor invoices and customs duty payments.
• Reconcile statements of accounts with shipping and terminal companies.
• Process reimbursements and follow‑up refunds from shipping and port terminals.
• Maintain accurate business transaction and accounting records.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile empty container templates and upload customs duty data to SharePoint.
• Analyse financial statements and interpret key ratios.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) preferred.
• 3–9 years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, finance best practices and consolidation.
• High ethical standards and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP accounting modules.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SharePoint for document management.
