Finance Manager

About the role

Ukah Bookkeeping Services is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager on behalf of a client in Lagos. The role requires a strategic, commercially‑minded finance professional to lead operations, strengthen controls, and provide insights that support business growth and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee finance and accounting functions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Review financial statements, management accounts and performance reports.
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables and expenditure.
• Maintain effective financial controls and ensure tax and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and support financial planning.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• ICAN or ACCA qualification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, cash‑flow management and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
