Field Sales & Ambassador Network Manager

About the role

The Field Sales & Ambassador Network Manager will build and lead a distributed network of ambassadors who bring new sellers onto the Shopnest platform. This contractor position focuses on recruiting, training, and activating ambassadors across market, community and campus channels to drive paying seller acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, screen and certify ambassadors (active sellers, market traders, community leaders, micro‑influencers).
• Guide ambassadors through application, training and settlement‑account setup, ensuring they become productive sellers.
• Coach ambassadors to meet recruitment targets, conduct briefings, manage under‑performance and recommend de‑certification when needed.
• Identify, approach and sign business communities (market associations, cooperatives, guilds, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, campus enterprises) as recruitment partners.
• Negotiate partnership terms and run activation events such as onboarding clinics, demo sessions and referral drives.
• Track ambassador codes and community campaigns, report weekly pipeline and monthly results, and provide insights on pricing and product gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting and managing a distributed network of agents, distributors, brand ambassadors or trade partners.
• Hands‑on knowledge of markets, trade associations, cooperatives, campuses or seller groups with the credibility to open doors.
• Quantifiable track record – numbers of people recruited, sellers acquired and revenue generated.
• Strong numeracy, self‑management and ability to own a pipeline without constant supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Contractor engagement with a monthly remuneration of NGN 250,000 – NGN 400,000.
