About the role
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team in Lagos, Marina. The role involves working with steel materials to produce high‑quality components for mining, energy and metal projects.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements and fabrication specifications.
- Measure, mark and cut steel materials accurately.
- Fabricate, weld and assemble steel components and structures.
- Operate fabrication tools, welding equipment and machinery safely.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, positioning and aligning components.
- Carry out welding and joining of steel parts according to specifications.
- Inspect fabricated components for proper measurements, alignment, strength and quality.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum SSCE (Secondary School Certificate).
Required skills
- Technical drawing interpretation
- Welding (various techniques)
- Operation of fabrication tools and machinery
- Material preparation – cleaning, grinding, aligning
