Executive Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO of The Artisan Butchery and Providore Limited. The role combines high‑level administrative duties with business development and operations coordination in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, arrange travel and handle correspondence.
• Draft, proofread and format letters, emails, proposals and reports.
• Maintain business files, contracts and compliance documents such as NAFDAC and import/export paperwork.
• Support business development by updating the client pipeline, preparing pitch decks, quotations and follow‑up communications.
• Liaise with logistics partners, clearing agents and suppliers to ensure smooth shipment and import processes.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for product registration and compliance.
• Assist with vendor and client onboarding, and conduct market research on ingredient categories and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, PA or in a business support/operations role, preferably in FMCG, trading, import/export or manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
