Customer Success Specialist – Food Science (Global)

About the role

The Customer Success Specialist – Food Science will be the primary commercial and service contact for manufacturers of human food, pet food and supplements. Working remotely, you will guide customers through the entire journey from initial inquiry to project delivery, ensuring a smooth experience and identifying future opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound web and phone inquiries, acting as the first point of contact.
• Conduct consultative discovery to understand customer goals, product details and testing or labeling needs.
• Recommend appropriate laboratory testing, labeling and related services, involving technical experts when required.
• Prepare, present and follow up on quotes or proposals, addressing questions and guiding qualified opportunities to decision.
• Own the customer relationship post‑sale, coordinating project setup, tracking progress, providing status updates and delivering final reports.
• Manage project logistics including sample submission, confirmation of receipt, delivery timelines and invoicing.
• Monitor the support inbox, ensure timely handling of inquiries and coordinate nutrition facts panel, recipe template and AAFCO‑related work with internal teams.
• Meet individual and team targets for responsiveness, revenue, project handoff quality and overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in customer success, inside sales or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
