About the role
Twayne Safe Haven is looking for a passionate Community Storyteller to revive its online spaces. Based in Lagos, you will share personal reflections and encourage young Nigerians to open up about mental health and wellbeing within a supportive digital community.
Key responsibilities
- Post honest reflections, lessons, wins and struggles in the Facebook community.
- Engage with members on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, responding to vulnerable posts.
- Welcome new and returning members, ensuring they feel seen and heard.
- Amplify meaningful stories across all online channels.
- Contribute ideas to make the community feel more alive and active.
- Participate in occasional online or in‑person check‑ins with the team.
Required profile
- Based in Lagos and able to work primarily online with occasional in‑person meetings.
- Comfortable sharing your own story, face and reflections publicly.
- Genuine desire to help others open up rather than build a personal following.
- Interest in mental health and wellbeing, even in an informal capacity.
- Consistent and reliable presence in the community.
Required skills
- Basic familiarity with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp for community interaction.
