Commercial Officer – Real Estate Business Development

About the role

The Commercial Officer will drive growth for GTL Properties Limited by identifying new business opportunities, managing sales and leasing pipelines, and expanding facility‑management contracts. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and property owners, developers, investors, and corporate clients, ensuring revenue targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new real‑estate opportunities and develop revenue‑generating strategies.
• Market properties for sale or lease, conduct inspections, and lead negotiations.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.
• Source and secure facility‑management contracts, prepare commercial proposals, and support bid submissions.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity; produce regular business development reports.
• Develop strategic partnerships with developers, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in real‑estate sales, leasing, business development or commercial management.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of property transactions and the Nigerian real‑estate market.
