Chief Operating Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to lead operational excellence at Jomivic Travel, a fast‑growing tourism and travel company based in Lagos. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will translate strategic vision into actionable plans that drive efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement systems, processes and structures that improve efficiency and profitability.
• Convert the Founder’s strategic vision into clear operational plans and measurable actions.
• Monitor performance across business units, ensuring targets are met.
• Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Establish accountability across teams and define responsibilities clearly.
• Ensure business activities are executed to required standards and within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as a COO, Operations Director, General Manager or similar senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing people, processes and multiple business functions while improving operational efficiency, revenue and overall performance.
• Strong background in building strategy, execution and business development.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid financial and commercial understanding.
