Business Manager

About the role

Primote Africa is seeking a Business Manager to oversee financial, administrative and operational functions within its manufacturing and warehousing environment in Lagos. The role combines financial stewardship with day‑to‑day business administration, ensuring smooth coordination between production, sales and installation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including income, expenses, payments and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare budgets, cash‑flow reports, financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor company expenses, cash flow and overall financial performance.
• Oversee invoicing, collections and payments, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain efficient business processes, policies and systems.
• Coordinate office operations, procurement, inventory and vendor management for production supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, purchases, stock movements and supplier transactions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation and employee administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and business administration.
• Proven experience managing accounting functions and administrative operations.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and reconciliation.
• Experience with procurement, inventory management and vendor coordination.
