Web Developer

About the role

Redwire Marketing Consulting is seeking a proactive Web Developer to maintain, update, and enhance its corporate website. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure the site remains functional, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update website content, layout, and functionality using a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Perform routine checks for uptime, usability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Upload and format text, images, videos, and other digital assets.
• Fix basic issues related to layout, links, forms, or plugins.
• Manage domains, hosting, and basic server tasks under supervision.
• Support backups, updates, and security patches.
• Test new features, plugins, or updates before deployment.
• Assist with SEO, site speed optimization, and mobile‑friendly responsiveness.
• Monitor site uptime, apply security updates, and help maintain data protection.
• Extract and analyse performance reports using Google Analytics.
• Document processes, updates, and known issues.
• Provide basic user support for internal website users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Design, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in web design, development, or support.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Understanding of website security fundamentals.
